Summer Camp 2015

The Troop went to Camp Rockefeller at Gus Blass Scout Reservation this summer.  We had fun learning Scout skills and going to merit badge classes. The boys had the opportunity to ear merit badges like shotgun shooting and sailing, which you can only earn at a BSA sponsored event.

The Senior Patrol Leader volunteered to help lead the closing campfire and he did an awesome job.  We had some very good meals, learned some new songs and skits, and the boys had a great time.

Look out for the Moose full of Juice! If you don’t know what this means, as a scout who attended camp.

Daycamp Service Patrol

We have seven members of the Troop volunteered to work in the Service Patrol at Daycamp this summer.  They are camping at the Daycamp, and learning Scoutcraft after the Cub Scouts leave for the day.  Thank you Mr. Bob and Mr. Dale for staying with them all week.

This is a quote from the Quapaw Scouter July/August Edition 2015:

.” We also want to give an extra thank you to our Camp Director, Amanda Eggert, our Webelos Program Director Aaron Fortner, Cub Scout Program Director Mellissa Moix, and our awesome service patrol from Troop 444.”
You all did a awesome job representing your troop.
