Mt Nebo Hike
The troop went and hiked at Mt Nebo State Park hike on Saturday, November 14. We meet at the VUMC at 9am, and we hiked the Bench and Rim trails at Mt. Nebo. We got back at 5pm, after we stopped at McDonald’s in Dardenelle.
Instructions for the hike: If your scout wants to bring his trekking backpack to break it in, make sure they put some clothes, sleeping bag and pad, and water in it. It needs to weight about 25% of their weight. If they just want to hike than, just a daypack is fine. Bring your lunch and water. Remember to dress in layers, and wear your class B troop t-shirts.
