The Patrol Leader Council chose to go to Quivira Scout Ranch in Sedan, Kansas. They have the largest lake that is all owned by the Boy Scouts in America. The Troop had a awesome time attending it. We even got the best flags display award.

The District Spring Camporee got moved due to weather. So when we did have it, we had more weather during the night and morning. The sun came out after Lunch and started to dry us out enough to put up the hammocks. We worked on Search and Rescue MB at the Camporee.

This March the Troop celebrated it’s 25th Anniversary. We had a banquet, and invited everybody that has been in the Troop. The first Scoutmaster, the first Eagle Scout, and a recent Eagle Scout all spoke.
We also worked Beaver Day at Camp Rockefeller. We painted the Trading Post.
Mr Rector and Mr. Palmer took a group out to work on Hiking MB during Christmas break.
In January, the FlapJack20 was cancelled due to snow.
In February, we had our winter Lock-In. We went to Altitude Trampoline Park, and had a great time.

In December, we participated in the Vilonia Christmas Parade. We added lights to the trailer and sang Christmas carols. Mr. Musselman drove for us in the parade, thank you.
We also volunteered to lay christmas wreaths at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. We invited the Webelos from the Pack to come with us.

For the fall, backpacking trip the troop went to Devil’s Den State Park and hiked the Butterfield Trail. We had Mr. Hobby, Mr. Power, and Alex as leaders.
We had a great time hiking the historic stage coach route, you can still see the path.
The coyotes/wolves/keep you up all night critters were very active Saturday night, and I thought they might come visit us, but they didn’t.
It is a nice loop backpacking trail, they say it is 12-13 miles long, I think it is 15.
