The Troop went back to Camp Rockefeller in Damascus, AR in 2018. We took almost all the new Scouts and lots of the older ones. They scouts had a blast and look forward to next year.

The Troop went back to Camp Rockefeller in Damascus, AR in 2018. We took almost all the new Scouts and lots of the older ones. They scouts had a blast and look forward to next year.
In February, the Pack had the Blue and Gold banquet, and asked the troop to serve the food. We also had the Arrow of Light presentation and the Webelos Cross Over Ceremony. Joining the Troop was Eli, Mayson, Colton, and Nate.
Our charter sponsor, United Methodist Church of Vilonia, invited the Troop and Pack to participate in the Sunday service. Trace read the Bible verse, and Harley gave a report of the Troop to the church. We also ushered and took up the offering for the church.
The troop invites the Webelos from the Pack to go with us to the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery at Christmas to put wreaths on the graves.
We went and hiked the Buffalo River Trail from Kyle’s Landing to Pruitt. We had a blast in the freezing cold, the water froze in the water bottles. The weather was cold and wet but, then the sun came out and warmed us up.
Our troop fundraiser, Flags over Vilonia, where we place flags in subscribers yards on Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Veterans Day. If you would like a flag, please contact us for more information.
The Patrol Leader Council chose to go to Quivira Scout Ranch in Sedan, Kansas. They have the largest lake that is all owned by the Boy Scouts in America. The Troop had a awesome time attending it. We even got the best flags display award.
The District Spring Camporee got moved due to weather. So when we did have it, we had more weather during the night and morning. The sun came out after Lunch and started to dry us out enough to put up the hammocks. We worked on Search and Rescue MB at the Camporee.
This March the Troop celebrated it’s 25th Anniversary. We had a banquet, and invited everybody that has been in the Troop. The first Scoutmaster, the first Eagle Scout, and a recent Eagle Scout all spoke.
We also worked Beaver Day at Camp Rockefeller. We painted the Trading Post.
Mr Rector and Mr. Palmer took a group out to work on Hiking MB during Christmas break.
In January, the FlapJack20 was cancelled due to snow.
In February, we had our winter Lock-In. We went to Altitude Trampoline Park, and had a great time.
